Winter Fashion Trends
Runway trends don’t always translate to the streets of Scottsdale. With our warm weather and casual attire, runway looks can sometimes look a bit over-the-top here. But that doesn’t mean we can’t take the best of this season’s winter fashion trends and make them work! Here are the five most wearable fashion trends this winter, and how to rock them in style
Chainmail —Let’s face it, head to toe chainmail is really tough to pull off anywhere beyond the runway. But it’s still a fun accessory that can add pizazz to an everyday look. Try a chainmail necklace or handbag to add this trend into your winter wardrobe
Beret — A well-placed beret can make even the simplest ensemble (hello, classic t-shirt and jeans combo) look elegant. This year’s runway saw berets in an array of colors and textiles, including leather.
Boots — Though our December weather rarely requires boots for warmth or to keep our tootsies dry from the rain, they sure continue to be one of the best fashion statements around. This year’s boot trends are slouchy and “party ” (we can thank Chanel for the latter). Soft, supple slouchy boots work for nearly any occasion while sparkly party boots will be the statement piece of the season!
Wide-leg Corduroy — We are glad to see this trend on the rise! With a low waist and wide leg, these comfortable cords are as easy to wear as a pair of jeans, flattering on all body types, and super comfortable, too. Rock this trend in deep earth tones, burgundy or any color you choose!
Red — This statement color is perfect for making a splash, and it’s a fabulously festive color to rock during the holidays. Luckily, this merry hue is also super on-trend this season so wear it with style this season!
